Dr. Muir's Honours Course

This is a correction of a previous blog post, which said that Dr. Muir's course would be on the topic of Medieval Islamic Political Philosophy. The course will in fact be covering Themes in 20th Century Political Thought.

Apologies for the mistake.

Philosophy Conference at U of M

Professor Chris Tillman is organizing a conference at the University of Manitoba. It will be running May 26-28 (this Thursday-Saturday) from 10 am to 6 pm with the last 3 hours of each day being a world renown keynote speaker. Chris is very excited about this conference and it sounds like a great opportunity for people to meet professors and graduate students from all over North America as well as to get a clearer look at what a philosophical conference is like.

Plus, how often do you have the chance to have dozens of professional philosophers travel to Winnipeg in order to speak to you?

Details:
39th Annual Meeting of the Society for Exact Philosophy
May 26-28
10 am to 6 pm
Fort Garry Hotel
Keynote Speakers: Robin Jeshion, Nathan Salmon (yay), Jessica Wilson.
